CESIE ETS is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation based in Palermo and established in 2001. The organisation is committed to promote cultural, social, educational and economic development at local, national, European and international levels: it contributes to growth and development through the active participation of people, civil society and institutions, always valuing diversity. Inspired by the work and life of Danilo Dolci, the organisation’s work focuses on actions on the research of social needs and challenges and the use of innovative learning approaches. In this way, CESIE actively connects research with action through the use of formal and non-formal learning approaches.

RightChallenge is a non-governmental organisation that aims to promote education and training centred on the themes of social inclusion and equal opportunities. The organisation promotes active, responsible and democratic citizenship through education and partnering with a range of stakeholders. KMOP, founded in 1977 in Greece, is a leading civil society organization dedicated to empowering and enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities through social support services, education, research & policy and, raising awareness on current societal challenges. Over the years, KMOP has broadened its impact to a global scale, maintaining a presence in three countries—Greece, Belgium, and North Macedonia—with permanent offices in Athens, Piraeus, Kifissia, Thessaloniki, Brussels, and Skopje.

At the heart of KMOP‘s work is the commitment to tackle social challenges through evidence-based solutions that foster individual and collective prosperity. Our approach focuses on creating and implementing innovative social programs designed to build self-worth, reduce inequalities, and promote inclusive and sustainable development.

Over the last two decades, KMOP has launched more than 450 social initiatives, positively impacting over 400,000 individuals with the support of both institutional and private donors.

WESTERN BALKANS INSTITUTE

WEBIN (Western Balkans Institute) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in accordance with the Law on Associations in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia in 2011 by a group of people who believed in the stronger regional linkages and integration processes, especially through enhanced affirmation of its educators’ potentials. Operating from our office located in Belgrade for over a decade and with dispersed workforce in South and South east Serbia, WEBIN today represents one of the leading NGOs with regional work-coverage in the Western Balkans, the organization active in development assistance and cooperation field in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania. WEBIN’s mission is to inspire new policy and practice solutions and assist next-generations of Balkans youth and adults to partake in regional developmental processes through actively contributing to evidence-based policy making and implementation of programs and projects that benefit all community members in core sectors – education, employment and social affairs, and sustainable development (i.e. agriculture, tourism, health, green and digital transition).

LIBERA PALERMO ASSOCIAZIONE

Libera Palermo Association is the provincial coordinator that represents the organisation Libera – Associations, names and numbers against mafias in Palermo province. It collaborates with schools, NGOs and other social actors that works for a better society, ruled by co-responsibility and mutual respect. Libera actions include:
Training and Education
Libera addresses its action to young people to promoting education and debating civic freedom (Libera conducts specialized training courses with local schools)

Day of Remembrance
Each year on March 21st, the first day of spring, Libera recognises a Day of Remembrance and Commitment in memory of the mafias’ innocent victims. In many places, both within Italy and abroad, the names of all the victims are read out loud.

Justice and the Social Reuse of Confiscated Assets
Libera promotes training and planning interventions which ensure that any and all assets confiscated by mafias become resources capable of triggering local development and increasing social cohesion.

Choragiew Gdanska

The Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego – ZHP), with over 100,000 members, is the largest youth organization in Poland. For nearly a century, ZHP has supported the all-round development of children and youth, fostering values such as patriotism, brotherhood, friendship, service, and justice. These principles, embedded in the Scout Promise and Law, form the foundation of its educational mission, encouraging members to grow through individual development plans and achieve higher ranks as scouts and leaders.

Chorągiew Gdańska, a regional branch of ZHP, operates in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. It unites over 6,000 members, including cub scouts, scouts, senior scouts, rovers, and leaders across 19 local units (hufce).

ZHP is more than an organization—it is a social movement shaping positive attitudes, strong character, and lifelong friendships, inspiring young people to serve their communities and build a better world.

CARDET (Center for the Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology) is one of the leading research and development center in the Mediterranean region with global expertise in project design and implementation, capacity building, and e-learning. CARDET is independently affiliated with universities and institutions from around the world, such as the Yale University and the International Council of Educational Media. It has completed numerous projects relating to the development of capacity building and planning in education and VET, social justice and integration, inclusive education, adult learning, youth support, eLearning, educational technology, skills and gaps assessments in educational institutions, civic engagement, social integration, and quality assurance.

CARDET brings together an international team of experts with long global expertise in research, foresight, educational technology, instructional design, eLearning, professional capacity building, innovation, social and economy integration and human resource development.

Out of the Box International is a European Network bringing together different organisations advocating for a more innovative, citizen-centered and solidary policies on European and local level. Our main mission is to provide expertise, ICT tools and network for dissemination of research, trainings and innovative practices.
The mission of ‘Out of the Box International’ is to develop and shape innovative policies in social entrepreneurship, social cohesion, open digital environment and further enhancement of the European project.

Our MEMBER ORGANISATIONS (34) from 24 countries are Youth Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), Municipalities and Universities ensuring a variety of expertise and experience in building different kind of innovative social projects. We are experts in different EU policy areas such as youth, education, cohesion and solidarity, digital, with focus on cross-sectorial practices.
Our TARGET GROUPS are young people, CSOs and policy makers. We believe that innovation, fresh ideas and active involvement of citizens in the political processes all together represent the sine qua non of making our societies better, fairer, more sustainable and just. The Headquarters of the organization are based in Brussels.
