Strength in Support

Power in Choice

Our mission is to prioritize youth well-being, ensuring they have the support and opportunities needed to thrive.

About Us

We aspire to empower youth aged 14-18 to choose a brighter life by addressing the root causes of drug abuse and promoting their psychosocial well-being.

Through preventive strategies, upskilling youth workers, and engaging policymakers to create supportive social welfare policies, we help youth build resilience and realize their potential.
Let’s join our forces to support young people in creating a future filled with hope, opportunities, and possibility.

Addressing drug abuse among youth in Europe

Youth drug abuse presents significant challenges across Europe, where various social and economic factors contribute to substance dependency among vulnerable youth populations. Marginalized groups, particularly those affected by poverty, social exclusion, and limited access to education, are at the highest risk.

Our objectives

Develop a prevention programme aimed at reducing drug-related risk behaviours among youth. This program will be informed by a comprehensive understanding of young people’s perspectives on psychosocial well-being, gathered through surveys among youth and interviews with experts. The insights obtained will guide the creation of the Choose-Life training materials, which include the Choose-Life curriculum, the Cool-Fun Toolkit, and the Choose-Life Manual for Youth.

Support young people at risk of social exclusion through a drug-(ab)use prevention program that incorporates non-formal learning and leisure activities.

Raise community awareness about evidence-based prevention methods for youth drug-related risky behaviours, promoting healthy leisure activities, and highlighting the need for strong youth-centered social welfare policies, through a social media campaign and a final event.

Equip professionals such as youth workers, social workers, and non-formal educators with the necessary skills to engage in drug prevention initiatives for youth through capacity-building sessions, a prevention program that includes job shadowing, and an International Youth Camp hosted in Poland.

Shape youth social welfare policies by establishing local youth councils that facilitate meaningful dialogue with local governments and EU institutions through national meetings with local government officials, and an EU roundtable.
