As part of our ongoing project, we are excited to announce the formation of the Youth-Choose Council (YCC) – a dynamic advisory and participatory body that will play a pivotal role in shaping policy, advocacy, and youth engagement initiatives.
We are currently recruiting at least 5 motivated young individuals to join the YCC at the local level. The YCC will be officially launched in the next project phase, and its members will become key actors in all project activities.
✅ Who We’re Looking For:
Young people who:
- Have a good command of English.
- Are interested in advocating for drug free and healthy lifestyle.
- Are willing to engage actively in local and international project activities.
- Are available for travel and participation in EU mobilities.
- Are open to collaborating with international peers.
- Contribute to social media post creation and the roundtable discussions.
We aim to build a group that reflects the diverse demographic and socio-economic backgrounds of the youth population.
🎯 What You’ll Do as a YCC Member:
🌍 Advise & Shape the Project
Contribute feedback during the development of youth training materials.
Ensure youth voices are integrated across all project activities.
📢 Raise Awareness
Co-design social media campaigns and support local events.
Promote health literacy and substance use prevention among peers.
🗳️ Engage in Policy Advocacy
Participate in 4 fora aimed at drafting inclusive policy recommendations addressing the challenges and needs of young people at risk of substance (ab)use or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Engage in dialogue with local government representatives.
Help draft inclusive policy recommendations.
🤝 Network Locally & Across the EU
Facilitating exchanges through local forums.
Participating in EU-wide round-table discussions.
Share experiences, best practices, and collaborative efforts towards common goals.

A Commitment That Matters
Upon appointment, each YCC member will sign a symbolic Letter of Intent, committing to contribute to the project’s goals and to act as a youth voice for change.
YCC members will be supported throughout by partners and experienced youth workers, ensuring access to the resources and guidance needed for their success.
